What good is a machine if it doesn’t work?
We at MedReady partnered with a large medical group to field-test our device for 8 months before we finalized the design and features of the MedReady Medication Dispenser. We enlarged our tray to hold more medication, made the tray removable, and most importantly, we added a rechargeable battery pack to safeguard against power outages. This also means MedReady can be used on short trips, eliminating the confusion of a suitcase filled with different pill containers.
The 1700, 1750, and the MR-357’s come standard with the easy to hear buzzer that alerts the patient that it is time to take the medication. For those who have difficulty hearing a buzzer or alarm, there is an optional Red Flashing Light available with the MedReady 1700FL, 1750FL, and the MR-357FL’s that flashes in conjunction with the audible alarm which alerts the patient that it is time to take the medication.
For caregivers who want a daily report on their patient’s compliance, we developed the MedReady MR-357, and the MedReady 1750 series.
The MedReady MR-357 series communicates via GSM Cellular to MedReady’s servers. When medication is ready the unit will sound a buzzer to notify the patient that the medication is ready. Opening the medication door disables the alarm. No land line or internet connection is necessary for the Medication dispenser. All medication compliance events and device settings are sent real time via cellular networks. Remotely change alarm times, trigger early doses, and set all device settings from the comfort of your home, or smart phone. In the case of a medication non-compliance event the dispenser signals MedReady’s servers which then send emails, text messages, and place automated phone calls to caregivers alerting them of the non-compliance event. The complete compliance log can be viewed via the compliance website.
The MedReady 1750 series communicates via Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) to MedReady’s servers. When medication is ready the unit will sound a buzzer to notify the patient that the medication is ready. Opening the medication door disables the alarm. In the case of a medication non-compliance event the dispenser signals MedReady’s servers which then send emails, text messages, and place automated phone calls to caregivers alerting them of the non-compliance event. Monitoring is available worldwide for the MR-357 series, and the 1750 series allows monitoring in the United States and Canada. Both devices require a small monthly monitoring fee. Please contact us for details.

Security

Safety
MedReady conveniently utilizes AC power, but in the event of an outage or short-term travel, switches automatically to included rechargeable batteries.
